CALIFORNIA NEVADA MOOSE ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES AND SPORTS COMMITTEE

Very soon it will be time to start submitting Information Sheets to the Secretary indicating your desire to be on an Association committee. These committees are now jointly open to both WOMEN AND MEN. This is my last year as chairman of the Activities and Sports committee; furthermore the positions of Co-chairman North and South will be open, so if you are interested in these positions please contact the Association Prelate Joe Henderson.

CREATE AN ACTIVITIES/SPORTS PROGRAM WITHIN YOUR LODGE/CHAPTER/DISTRICT
IF YOU NEED HELP TO GET STARTED . . . .
CONTACT YOUR ASSOCIATION SPORTS COMMITTEE. WE WILL BE GLAD TO HELP.

An active Sports Committee working with other Chairmen of the Lodge or District can schedule various sporting activities that will help promote fraternal well being, recruit new members into the fraternity and retain members. There are many various sports that interest the entire family, such as, bowling, darts, horseshoes, shuffleboard, bocce ball, softball, golf, basketball, etc.
All Lodges may not have the facilities for some sports, however, maybe a Lodge in your District does !!! This can bring you together!!!

CNMA’s Sports Committee, similar to all committees, has seen the cancellation of virtually all of our planned events due to the Current Public Health emergency.  As I write this the only event still on the calendar is the annual Moose Charities Golf Tournament on Saturday August 22, 2020 in Santa Maria.  Chairing this event for the 20th year are Johnny & Stella Robinson and Jim Guggia.  When this emergency is over and we get back to normal the committee members will once again seek to plan and present sports functions for the enjoyment of our members.

Fraternally, CNMA sports Committee

Cyndi Hanley, Placerville

Terry Schmidt, Sunnyvale

Tony Padayao, Fairfield

Rich Russitano, Pacifica
